My Piano

The love for music was given to me by my parents when they enrolled me in music school at the age of seven. I was learning to play accordion for four years, but I stopped after that.

The desire to play instruments again, returned with the appearance of electric guitars.

I came back to playing keyboards when the first synthesizers appeared, which delighted me with their sound capabilities. To learn to play keyboards, I knew, I needed a piano for it. So, I was lucky to find a very cheap piano. I had a hard time to practice playing with my left hand. My idol in playing the piano was Elton John with songs Saturday Night’s Alright and Your Song.

As I progressed in playing, I decided to play the digital piano. In my search for instruments with superior piano sound and grand feel, I have changed at least a dozen of them to date. Some of them are shown in the photos.

Yamaha CVP 209
Yamaha AvantGrand N1
Roland FP90
Kawai CA99

Today, I enjoy playing Kawai ES8 and specially Kawai CA99, one of the best digital piano, as a true digital version of Kawai’s, Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand.

In recent years, I have enjoyed performing at some events.
